Assist in supervising F&B personnel, to ensure proper and efficient floor coverage and exceed excellent guest service and satisfaction in a timely manner. Assist in employee training, delivering clear communication as well as maintaining STARs moral. Act in capacity of manager in absence of management staff opening and closing outlets.- Monitor restaurant operations including opening and closing restaurant as per ResortQuest procedures, satisfying guest complaints or special requests, serving as wait, bar, or kitchen staff when necessary. Close restaurant at the end of daily operations. Balance cash sales receipt and complete necessary reports as required. Responsible for ensuring the preparation of the restaurant, bar, kitchen and STARs for next shift.- Train, schedule, direct and monitory performance of wait and bar staff. Responsible for enforcing safety rules and in the event of an accident or emergency situation, follow through with ResortQuest’s procedures. Familiar with outlet menu and prices ensuring that all tickets are properly completed in a timely manner.- Audits storerooms and storage to maintain consistent quality, sanitation, and inventory. Assist in maintaining the standards of the Food and Beverage Manual and ensure that all Stars are adequately instructed in service procedures.- Implements effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs. Ensure that all equipment is properly used and stored. Ensure all servers/bartenders end of the shift report paperwork balances. Ensure all checks charges are correct, with correct signature. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Good communication and supervisory skills.
Two years food and beverage experience and two years supervisory experience preferable in a high volume hotel/restaurant operation.
