Position Summary:

The opportunity is in the critical product management department within ASI driving the evolution of ASI’s market data and database strategy and structure currently supporting an enterprise application product-line distributed to financial institutions and independent financial advisors. Candidates must have a successful track record in data operations or data product management for a financial services organization.

Responsibilities:

•Design and implement a data strategy and database structure for ASI to support multiple financial and investment planning software applications.
•Deliver business requirements and functional specification documentation for the implementation of ASI’s data strategy, and develop any external documentation for the dissemination of ASI’s data process to clients.
•Act as primary liaison between Engineering, Sales, Research and Product Development for the design and implementation of ASI’s data strategy generally, and the implementation of that strategy through ASI’s security master and Monte Carlo simulator specifically.
•Manage ASI’s relationships with external licensed data vendors
•Oversee implementation of ASI’s data process for updating client enterprises.

Qualifications:

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in data operations or product management related to financial technology or data vendor management.
•Proficiency with traditional project management practices and tools.
•Demonstrated experience working with senior managers to execute projects.
•Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively-in written and verbal forms-is critical.
•Must be creative and resourceful, self-starter, highly motivated critical thinker.
•Team-oriented, strong relationship building and influencing skills.
•Enthusiastic, hard working and highly productive…while having fun!
