Senior Manager - Area Support ( Food )

Unit Description: Corporate Services is seeking a creative, analytical, and sales oriented individual to support the emerging and exciting leisure segment of our business. This is a newly created position designed to support a number of projects and concept development in this market. Duties will include: * trend analysis * the design, marketing, and concept development of special events * Programs, community events, and educational materials designed to fit leisure venues * Culinary concepts (like cooking classes, celebrity Chef promotions, themes, etc.) * Standards of operation, best practices, pricing strategies, and signature items * New sales support * internal and external communication * Other related projects as they evolve Job must be based in the Midwest preferably in Chicago or Central Ohio where there are other leisure business and operators. The job will require travel, at times extensive (60-80%). Position will report to DVP with dotted lines to leisure VPO's. Successful candidate will need to be a self starter with strong analytical, verbal and written skills. The ability to be a self starter, create and innovate, work with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects is a must. Ability to speak Spanish would be a plus.Position Summary:
Serves as a subject matter expert for the Division relating to standards and practices for food production, delivery and culinary services. Typically aligned with an SVP or VP and supports that geography. Ensures compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of standards and other regulatory requirements, as well as with Sodexho's templates and standards for customer service. Works with operations constituents in areas relating to financial management, people management, account development, and account operations. Supports the implementation of new unit openings, including the development and administration of training plans. Supports the sales process by assisting with operations and costing analyses, and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals.Typical Knowledge and SkillsIn-depth technical knowledge of food production, delivery and culinary services and processes. Strong project management, analytical and communications skills. Comprehensive understanding of company business operations.Typical Education
