Senior Director, Hospital/IDN Strategy
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Information TechnologyResponsibilities: The Director of Hospital/IDN Strategy is responsible for setting the vision and strategic product direction for revenue cycle and access management applications for the hospital and IDN markets. As a key member of the Business Solutions Upstream Marketing team, this person is responsible for:
Gathering and analyzing voice of the customer and voice of the business needs, translating these into high-level product and service requirements.
Understanding the competition from a sales and marketing perspective, as well as product perspective.
Owning the plan for execution of the strategy, ensuring that the various functional areas of the organization are appropriately engaged to achieve overall success.
Working with the engineering team to create functional requirements, customer partnerships, and multi-generational product plan (MGPP).
Working with commercial marketing, sales, and operations to design packaging and pricing strategies and create go-to-market plans.
Working with client services to develop service requirements and create plans for organizational readiness around new software releases and technologies.
Working with regulatory personnel to identify/understand necessary regulatory changes and create a strategy for deployment.
Forming and managing third-party relationships as they relate to the market strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, product designers, engineers, field personnel, and executive management.
Strong knowledge of hospital administrative and financial process.
Experience with large business software applications.
Relocation to Burlington, VT (preferred) or Boston, MADesired: Experience with marketing and business planning.
Experience working with executive level personnel of healthcare organizations.
Strong leadership skills.
