RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: This position is accountable for overseeing Branch Territory Managers so that sufficient qualified dealers are developed to achieve the full sales potential of the assigned territories, that sales to these dealers are profitable for the Branch, and that the programs necessary to generate these sales are utilized by the dealers and meet their needs. The incumbent is totally responsible for securing the sales volume assigned to the territory by managing the following specific responsibilitiesProviding training for sales personnel as required on product, applications, salesmanship, marketing programs, pricing, estimating, competition, and business management. Planning and assuring the budget for advertising and sales promotional programs for the Branch/Dealer network including administering Co-op and special funds. Assisting credit personnel in keeping dealer network accounts current. Preparing major quotations on York equipment for large projects for dealers. Conveying "leads" to dealer network and checking on follow-up by dealer through his/her staff. Providing to factory/Branch management forecasts of dealers` and Branch short and long-range product requirements. Remaining up to date on competitive dealer operations, plans, pricing, and programs. Providing the necessary programs to acquire and develop sufficient qualified dealers to attain full sales potential of the assigned territory. Analyzing and developing annual performance objectives for each dealer in the territory regarding profits, sales dollars and volume, product mix, etc. Actively coaching each Territory Manager in tailoring specific dealer assistance for attaining or exceeding objectives of his/her dealer network. Procuring acceptable programs to secure advance orders from dealers in accordance with planned objectives and maintaining dealer product inventory at adequate levels. Promoting, training, and helping implement all Liberties and associated programs within the dealer network. Providing computer training to Territory Managers for all necessary program implementation (i.e., Click Commerce; Build-a-Brochure; Ad Planner; etc.).
REQUIREMENTS


Candidates should possess the following qualifications:Several years of successful industry sales. Strong computer proficiency. Four-year college degree desirable. Past supervisory experience a plus.
