Job Summary:
To develop and implement a recruitment program with the emphasis on outside sales for corporate and group events. To assist sales director in implementing external programs in order to increase lineage and revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:
If applicable, completes and maintains the center's MAP manual
Obtains business listings
Develops and maintains a prospect list year round
Calls prospects for sales calls.
Prepares promotional sales packets
Makes sales presentations to prospects
Coordinates and schedules special events from the sales call, and develops leagues as needed.
Reserves lanes in center book and/or calendar
Prepares flyers/invitations for bowling parties or special events
Delivers invitations and posters to prospects
Makes follow-up calls to prospects to ensure invitations were distributed, and if additional help or materials are needed
Notifies center staff of all bookings
Places all guest confirmation calls
Prepares registration packages for parties
Attends sales parties
Sets up sign-in table
Prepares welcome messages for Overhead
Makes welcome announcements
Socializes lane-to-lane during parties for league interest
Scouts for league officers
Determines league interest using registration card information
Helps conduct group meetings
Gains the commitment for league and/or a return for a special event
Conducts post meeting lane-to-lane solicitation to request sign-ups
Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful customer service
Enters all guests into database
Mails each guest appropriate post-party information letters
Completes a Party Evaluation for each event
Develops Cosmic Clubs, Cosmic Leagues, and Merchant Leagues
Maintains safe work environment
Provides safe environment for customers
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Experience:Marketing, public relations, or promotional experience, or equivalent education. Some bowling knowledge helpful. Retail/customer Service experience.
Education Level:High school or equivalent.
