The Industrial Service Market supplies backup and prime power, and temperature control for commercial, industrial, utility and emergency needs. Products include generators, switchgear, and a full supply of climate control products and accessories. The Event Service Market is a turnkey provider for events and corporate hospitality. Its products include generators, power distribution, HVAC, luxury/executive restrooms and infrastructure.We are currently seeking Direct Sales/Project Managers who have a track record of successful direct outside sales ability, a proven work history of prospecting, cold calling and building new business, ideally in a technical, industrial or Rental market sector! Candidates must be sales-results oriented, passionate, self driven and able to often work remotely under their own initiative to break new ground. Candidates should possess a sustained high energy level, effective time and territory management skills, computer/systems literate, professional image and demeanor, and outstanding negotiation and persuasion skills. Candidates must be an effective communicator and problem solver.BASIC FUNCTION:
This position reports to the Regional Manager with the primary objective of obtaining new business and customer accounts, and servicing existing accounts for an assigned territory. The responsibilities of a Sales/Project Manager includes: 75% Direct Sales and business development, 25% Project Management for planning, scheduling, conducting, directing and evaluating all event and industrial rental business and product sale for assigned territory. Assist customers with all aspects of managing projects, and gaining maximum equipment utilization, market share and profitability. Represent Kohler Rental Power's interest to assure that all agreement/contracts are honored and objectives are realized. Are you up for the challenge?SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Direct Sales experience, preferably in a technical sales role.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
