Risk Training Leader
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: Responsible for managing and implementing competency modeling and related learning strategies for Risk, driving common Risk learning & development strategies across Capital Solutions platforms to increase effectiveness and support development needs.
Partner with functional leaders to develop and implement Risk-specific functional and organizational learning and development strategies.
Conduct content, job and task analysis to develop appropriate performance development frameworks and strategies to address common needs across Risk platforms.
Drive usage of common learning approaches and facilitate best practice sharing across Capital Solutions, leveraging scale where possible.
Lead development/implementation of core Risk competency model and related learning and development strategies.
Maintain common courses specific to functional area.
Partner with P&L Risk & Training Leaders on business specific learning needs, analysis and solutions.
Responsible for creating and maintaining strategic learning plan and budget.
Serve as primary training & development expert for Risk.
Partner with capital Solutions training organization on execution of business-wide initiatives.
Coordinate with external vendors, as appropriate, to bring training classes to CS Risk teams.
Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in Risk and/or Training and Development
4 year degree in related field
Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking to problem solving and plan development
Proficiency in performance consulting, gap analysis, solution development and evaluation
Working knowledge of adult learning theory
Instructional design and delivery experience
Experience with various learning delivery methods, including ILT, eLearning, virtual, etc
Excellent facilitation and influencing skills
Strong business acumen and leadership experience
Experience with competency model development, implementation and/or related curriculum strategies
Strong interpersonal skills - proven ablity to influence and interact effectively across levels of the organization
Proven ablity to translate training into business results
Travel requiredDesired: * Graduate degree in related field
Experience in Risk environments within a financial services organization
