Retail General Manager
The Yankees couldn’t have won four World Series championships without Joe Torre, and the Chicago Bulls couldn’t have won six NBA championships without Phil Jackson. You just can’t have a great team without a great coach, and that’s why we need you.
We need a Retail Store Manager who can set clear goals and strategies, someone who can motivate, train and develop their players into a championship team. Because only when our players reach their full potential can adidas reach ours.
As an adidas Store Manager, you’ll be expected to perform the tasks below with that same leadership that all great coaches demonstrate.
Responsibilities
Recommend and participate in all decisions that may impact hiring, discipline, and termination of employees, while following Company guidelines and applicable employment law.
Supervise all in-store operations to achieve sales, service, and profitability objectives.

Perform timely completion of all recordkeeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, salary reviews, counseling, disciplinary actions and terminations.
Develop action plans to address any issues relating to store sales, goals, safety, training, and personnel development.
Ensure fiscal integrity of the store by implementing monthly and quarterly inventory audits to be performed in compliance with corporate policy.
Develop a safety and security committee.
Develop and maintain labor cost budgets and overall expense control within division guidelines.
Communicate monthly P&L financial results to Store Management Team.
Develop sales contests to create positive morale and motivate staff.

adidas’ founder, Adi Dassler, was inspired by a single idea when he made his first shoes, at the age of just 20: to provide every athlete with the best footwear for his or her respective discipline. And 85 years later, we have almost 16,000 employees worldwide who put this same passion and commitment to innovation into each concept, component, process and product we produce.
