This organization is looking for individuals to work in a cross functional environment between merchandising, product development, and financial planning area.



This major specialty retail organization is looking for individuals that have at least 5+ years as a DMM, Senior Buyer, Buyer, or Category Manager with a major specialty, department, drug, or grocery operation.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accountable for developing unique and creative merchandise categories.

· Lead and direct a staff within a cross functional environment.

· Develop merchandise presentations, and advertising strategies.

· Manage product mix, pricing, gross margin, sales, promotional expenditures, GMROF, and GMROI



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· 4 year college degree or equivalent background

· 5+ years as a Divisional Merchandise Manager, Sr. Buyer, Buyer, or Category Manager with a major specialty, department, drug, or grocery operation.

· Proven track record in building merchandise assortments for large volume operations
