Regional Sales Manager-Construction (Chicago, IL)

BASIC FUNCTION:
Individual is responsible for the profitable sales growth of Kohler companies plumbing brands to the new residential construction and commercial markets. Focus will be on defined major, strategic builders (Top 100). Increase market share of Kohler by developing solid relationships and commitments from key influencers in channel. Responsible for developing sales strategies for defined market leaders and coordination and execution of national builder accounts' sales plans and strategies.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain regular contact with defined, major strategic builders and developers in key metro markets.
Establish and maintain regular contact with key commercial general contractors.
Develop sales strategies and market plan for channel.
Coordinate and implement sales calls and presentations to channel leaders.
Coordinate and assist in execution of national builder accounts sales plans and strategies and coordinate/assist with follow-up activities
Mentor/Coach/Train Construction Sales Executives
Drive implementation of market development plans for channelEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A four-year college degree in business management, marketing. A minimum of fours years' experience with a solid understanding of two-step distribution and pull-through selling. A thorough understanding of major account selling and the new residential construction market is essential. Individual should possess excellent communication, planning and presentation skills.
