Position Description:
The Regional Operations Manager position is on the SAM?S Team. SAM?S Club is the warehouse club division of Wal-Mart, Inc. This position will be assigned to West/Southwest covering 17 states and 13 Sam's Club Market Managers. Territory represents approximately $125MM in gross sales, including all Quaker, Tropicana, and Gatorade businesses. This fast-paced and challenging assignment is primarily focused on selling incremental programs and supporting Club of the Community events.

Responsibilities
To sell incremental programs to Sam's Club Market Managers (13), while enhancing execution of all corporate programs in the assigned geography. This includes, but is not limited to, securing Club of the Community orders, selling flex space/pallet programs and securing / maintaining Sam's Club MM VPI sponsorships.

Drive quality interaction with MM?s, while maintaining a minimum of 1x/Qtr call frequency.
Monitor and drive incremental sales performance for all secured VPI's.
Penetrate the Sam's MM?s to wire future decision makers.
Contribute to Regional Operations Team achieving "Preferred Supplier" status by becoming the supplier expert at Sam's Club in assigned geography. Provide "Club of the Community" insights and customize Club / MM Market specific presentations.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years sales experience, must possess the ability to work effectively in cold-call situations. Must have a proven track record of successfully penetrating assigned customers.
Consumer packaged goods sales experience (including food and beverage) strongly preferred.
Must possess the 'Will to Win'. This encompasses the ability to think out of the box and develop creative solutions to attain results.
Must have a basic understanding of Retail Link and Syndicated Data to support program sell-in, as well as, providing business insights and solutions.
Strong attention to detail. All information must be accurate and timely.
Self-starter with strong team orientation.
Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
