Regional Business Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible to provide managerial and financial audit and control in the designated New Equipment Business region by performing the following duties personally or through others.
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to:Regional Manager, NEB
Supervises (include titles of direct reports):Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Dedicated Project Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
1. Monitor, track, and verify NEB sales, costs, and CMII via Result Report.
2. Monitor, track, verify, and update the projects costs and schedule through the facilitation of the regional project management meetings.
3. Generate accurate monthly closeout reports and projections for profits and losses through facilitation of the plan management meetings. Management of Plans includes financial closing of projects with in the guidelines of Close Out Policy.
4. Responsible for the Interest On Working Managed Capital charged to NEB through the management of invoicing, accounts receivable and work in progress
5. Monitor regional warranty claim costs and process.
6. Executes, administers and monitors corporate objectives/initiatives/ policies/procedures (i.e. Safety, Quality, ITE, etc)
7. Support the development, implementation and attainment of an annual business plan, operating budget and orders budget utilizing KONE business processes.
8. Comprehend and effectively implement all NEB relevant software programs into Project Management departments and schedule any training that may be required.
9. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of area project management personnel to ensure that goals and objectives of NEB installation are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
10. Monitor employee and customer satisfaction, motivation and personal development.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
2. Fosters team spirit and maintains a positive working environment while focusing on development of entire NEB Team.
3. Ensures processes are in place to allow proper implementation of all KONE NEB initiatives.
4. Develops and fosters communication within and between NEB and SEB including problem resolution.
5. Directs and leads area project management personnel in achievement of planned result.
6. Establishes and maintains positive public relations to promote a reputation of quality for KONE Elevator.
7. Travel as required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
Experience:Minimum of five (5) years progressive management experience (including managing people, budgets, planning, etc.).
Knowledge:
1. Comprehensive understanding of KONE’s processes, procedures, and policies.
2. Solid working knowledge of project management principles and practices.
3. Solid working knowledge of elevator and escalator installation practices and techniques.
4. Solid working knowledge of construction industry standard practices and processes.
5. eneral accounting and financial management principles
Skills:
1. Demonstrated ability at leading and management
2. Ability to develop and foster teamwork, and motivate people to attain their maximum potential
3. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks through effective organization and time management
4. Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook and Office, and SAP.
5. Ability to converse in methods of effective and persuasive speaking, voice and diction, phonics, discussion, and debate.
6. Ability to speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects with building owners, general contractors, developers, architects, and all levels of KONE employees.
