Quality Technician

Industry leading medical device company is seeking an experienced Quality Technician with 3-5 years experience.


Job Description of Quality Techinican position:

The primary responsibility of this position is to evaluate and document results of customer complaints.

Responsibilities of Quality Technician position:

*Conduct product complaints evaluations according to written procedures (SOP) in order to identify root causes.

*Operate laboratory equipment to collect and record data.

*Maintain laboratory records and data integrity following good documentation practices.

*Perform flow rate accuracy, mass flow reading, visual inspection and leak tests.

*Review and verify device history records to ensure that all testing and inspections are within the specification.

*Complete all testing in a timely and appropriate manner.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Job Requirements for Quality Technician position:

*Associate degree and/or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.

*Two years of failure analysis experience in FDA regulated medical device industry.

*Ability to set-up experiments and use physical test and inspection equipment such as mass flow reader, pressure meter, caliper and data logger.

*Knowledge of FDA QSR, MDD 93/42/EEC, ISO 13485 and CMDR.

*Computer skills, Word, Excel and Access.

*Must be well organized and attentive to detail.

*Interface warehouse, manufacturing and engineering.
