QA Supervisor

Immediate opening for a QA Supervisor!
The functions of the Quality Assurance Supervisor are as follows but are not limited to:'Supervise and Train Quality Technicians
'Train plant personnel in GMP's and other Qualtiy and Food Safety Policies
'Review daily QA paperwork for accuracy and completeness
'Summarize reports
'Evaluate product on hold, maintain the hold log and document disposition of product.
'Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
'Ensure HACCP plan checks are completed in a timely manner.
'Provide technical assistance to all departments
'Interact with USDA on any non-compliance issues or USDA concerns.
'Work with Quality Director in maintaining and improving quality process
'Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning quality, cost and improvements for consideration by other members of management team.'Investigate quality issues
'Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable state and federal laws. Monitor employees' attendance. Review and approve vacation time. Verify and sign time sheets.
'Assist with other duties as needed.
'Assist the Quality Director as needed.The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience working in Quality Assurance with meat or other related food products and previous experience supervising others.
