The Onyx Group, a company specializing in land and facilities planning, architectural design, and information technology solutions, is seeking a “difference maker” - someone who epitomizes creativity, character, and charisma - to join our team as a Project Manager/Senior Planner.

As a Project Manager/Senior Planner, you will achieve these ends by leading, managing, and assisting with proposal preparation, setting project budgets, managing projects from inception to completion, and supporting marketing initiatives. These projects encompass land and facility solutions including land-use, site development, encroachment action, and master plans; feasibility studies; and space utilization analysis. Responsibilities include leadership and oversight of all aspects of production coordination and ensuring that the final deliverable surpasses clients’ expectations.

Depending on your experience level, the starting salary for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. As a team member contributing to the success of the company, you would also share in the growth of the company through 3% profit sharing and 6–10% in company stock annually. REQUIREMENTS
You should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture, and 6+ years of planning experience in a professional firm; exceptional writing and editing skills; familiarity with GIS or CADD software programs; and be a U.S. Citizen. Overseas travel is anticipated. Military master planning experience is highly desirable.
