Project Manager/Business Analyst

Major financial services firm based in Connecticut seeks a Project Manager/Business Analyst (HEDGE FUNDS/ FUND OF FUNDS)Responsibilities:* Support business development projects, initiative, and the day-to-day operation of the research platform.* Assist in strategic and tactical business planning, new business development, project management and internal & external relationship management.* Work closely with various members of the research and investment team as well as Operations, Control and Information Technology.* Analyse financial forecasts in support of business planning
* Support technology developments specific to facilitating research and portfolio construction workflow* Assist process improvement projects and ad hoc requests
* Liases with Operations, Legal and Compliance and Marketing on variety of business initiatives
* Documentation of policy and procedures.* Help negotiate investment terms and conditions with Hedge Funds
* Co-ordinate global initiatives and manage business administration requirements.
* Track and initiate actions from internal committee and research meetings.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are a must.
* Within Fund of Fund, Operational-Accounting, Analyst/Audit

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:* Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of the team.
* Undergraduate degree
* 3-5 years of experience in capital markets (hedge fund and hedge fund strategy experience a plus)
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
* Proficient with MS Office-
