Project Manager

Vermont Information Consortium (VIC) operates the Vermont.gov portal on behalf of the State of Vermont. We provide Internet-based electronic government services that reduce costs and provide a higher level of service to businesses and citizens. We are currently seeking a creative, energetic individual to join our team.

VIC is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail who is experienced with project management of complex Internet and e-commerce products and services. Responsibilities for this job include providing overall project coordination among all parties involved in the project, attending and leading project management meetings, planning project timelines, milestones and goals, reporting project progress, developing public relations materials including brochures and press releases, and participating in and coordinating attendance at trade shows, conferences, and conventions.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to have an undergraduate degree or requisite project management experience, minimum two years job related experience, excellent customer service skills, including good verbal and written abilities, strong leadership, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal and presentation skills, and should have the ability and desire to thrive in a high-pressure, client-services entrepreneurial environment.

Our offices are located in Montpelier, but the company is nationally oriented with growth opportunities available. This position is full time with a competitive salary and benefit package. Local candidates are preferred as relocation expenses are not available.
