Project Lead

Our client is in urgent need of a Project Lead to start ASAP. This is a direct-hire position with a forward-thinking, progressive company that offers plenty of opportunities for growth and promotion.

The Project Lead role will drive the continued development of multi-tier distributed applications in a Windows/Internet environment. The person is responsible for providing design project management, following department standards and procedures, overseeing the development of code to ensure high quality, partnering with the QA team, and resolving defects. This role is responsible for Design/Code reviews and conducting technology Proofs of Concepts.

Provide technical leadership. *Facilitate cross group collaboration. *Performs program & system analysis. *Develops, designs & tests complex program logic. *Maintains & enhances existing software. *Drive complex issues to closure. *Coordinate team deliverables.

Must have 5+ years .NET (C#, ASP. NET, ADO.NET); 6+ years Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Studio 6.0, ASP, COM+, HMTL, MS SQL Server 2000; 3+ years XML, XSL, Schema; Directly related Web application experience; Excellent technical writing skills; Demonstrated leadership ability; A willingness to accommodate a rapidly changing development environment (can adapt quickly).

Insurance knowledge is a plus.

An undergraduate degree is required and a graduate degree is preferred. Equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree requirement. Previous Software Developer Lead experience in start up environment helpful.
