Program Coordinator, In-Home/Transition Program(142200-656)

Responsible for the ongoing clinical coordination and overall development of the Transition/In-Home Program for the seriously mentally ill. Ensures the program meets clinical standards, operates at maximum capacity, and fulfills contract requirements. Carry out all responsibilities and exercise authority within SBH’s values of people, integrity, respect, openness, creativity and quality. Plans, and provides limited direct services to seriously mentally ill clients. Oversees clinical staff and service delivery. Provides clinical supervision, training and service plan management in compliance with agency, licensure, BBHE and CARF standards. Responsible for clinical development and ensuring utilization of best practice standards in service delivery. Oversees and implements program development and growth within a recovery framework.
REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree with an emphasis in Human Services, Counseling and Psychology plus two year of behavioral health experience; Licensed (LPC, LISW, LISAC) or eligible highly preferred.
Knowledge of rehabilitation concepts for psychiatric disorders.
Academic and working knowledge of clinical methods and procedures; and application of the same working knowledge of program development with strong emphasis on designing and implementing policy and procedures.
Ability to communicate well in writing and orally to the community at large, staff, clients, and related agencies.
Ability to link effectively with other programs and agencies.
Experience:
2 - 5 years experience in the behavioral health field with emphasis on the SMI population. 3 years of supervisory experience.
