Prepared Foods P.M.. Retail Team Member

Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meeting. Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, and stocking product. Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated. Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage. Sample department products to the customers. Practice courteous and proper etiquette when answering phone and pages. Be aware of new products and their placement. Maintain back stock areas and cases. Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required. Practice safe use of all tools and equipment required by the position. Know and practice proper lifting techniques. Effectively communicate with all TM’s regarding proper department operations. Properly package and wrap products for retail sale. Help cross-merchandise product with other departments. Adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Attend all department, store and training meetings when scheduled. Wash dishes and utensils when necessary. Peel, chop and slice produce items. Slice sandwich meats and cheese. Prepare sandwiches. Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Supervisor, Buyer, Store Leadership and Prepared Foods Coordinator(s).
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sell proactively and communicate effectively with customers. Must have a passion for natural foods. Ability to work well within a team. Can lift a minimum of 15 up to 50 pounds. Able to meet physical job requirements. Able to communicate effectively with others and convey enthusiasm. Posses some customer service experience. Must be self-motivated and solution-oriented.
