Pilgrim's Pride, located in Enterprise, Alabama, is seeking a Plant Manager. This position will manage, direct, and coordinate operations of the plant across multi shifts to achieve production objectives in an efficient, cost effective manner consistent with quality and designed requirements, while maintaining a safe work environment. The Plant Manager will also have the maintenance manager reporting to him/her as well as oversee the sanitation process of the plant.



Responsibilities:



"¢ Analyze, develop, and direct implementation of processes to maximize downtime, accidents and turnover.

"¢ Work with Quality Assurance to ensure all food safety, USDA and customer specifications are met.

"¢ Calculate yields, production rates and to compose various written documents required.

"¢ Required interact in a professional and efficient manner with the entire management team and USDA Employees.

"¢ Responsible for the efficient & safe operation of the processing plant

"¢ Maintain effective customer relationships by knowing, understanding and implementing requirements and expectations

"¢ Continuous Improvement.

"¢ Review and assess daily reporting for all shifts (i.e. production reports, attendance/staffing reports, etc.) as necessary.

"¢ Monitor crewing to insure labor hours meet standard for product produced

"¢ Demonstrate high level of organizational skills
REQUIREMENTS
"¢ 3-5 years of experience at a production manager level in a Fast Food product mix in a poultry processing plant.



"¢ Previous management responsibilities of two or more management level employees and twelve (12) or more employees at a superintendent/supervisory level across multi shifts.



"¢ Must have intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.



"¢ Communication, interpretation/reading skills, mathematical skills, and reasoning skills a must



"¢ Bilingual skills a plus



EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



"¢ Bachelor"&tm;s degree (BS) from an accredited college or university or related work experience at same level and/or training in the food industry.
