Perlite Product Manager

Our client, an international leader in industrial minerals located on the Southern coast of California has an opening for a Perlite Product Manager. This person will be accountable for managing the global profitability of the client’s existing Perlite, affecting 6 plants and 3 mines in the US, 2 plants and 1 mine in Latin America, and 5 plants and 1 mine in Europe. This person will report to the Director of Product Management and Strategic Planning. In addition to the above, this person will also be responsible for evaluating opportunities to acquire other mineral reserves and companies. REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, business administration or economics.

2.Experience in strategic planning and project management.

3.Excellent interpersonal skills to lead and participate in cross functional and cross cultural teams.

4.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

5.The ability to work under stretch time schedule and manage stress whilst carrying out multiple tasks simultaneously.

6.Knowledge and experience of cost analysis, business financial statements and company evaluation. Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities for mineral acquisitions of companies and reserves.

7.Ability to travel to various business regions and production location.
