We're looking for people who can make a difference because we believe that an innovative oriented team can accomplish anything!Parts Manager (DPM) is responsible for the effective operations of all Parts Department activities within the dealership. He/she is accountable for the financial performance, coordinated marketing, customer relations, staffing, and overall coordination of the Parts Department. The Parts Manager will collect and analyze data providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. The Parts Manager must be an investment advisor and profit producer. Strong communication is required between the Parts Manager, Technicians, Service Advisors, Cashiers and Vehicle Coordinators.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of performance within the Parts operations
Develop and follow-up on individual business unit action plans to achieve the desired outcome
Champion National and District initiatives within the store (Assessment, Training, Certification, Parts” day’s supply”, Asset Management
Provide feedback to the General Manager, and the District staff based on the contacts
Involvement in collective marketing efforts.
Develop succession plan within the store for continuous Parts operations
Oversight of the collective recruiting, selection, and staffing effort
Evaluate and coordinate Parts training initiatives.
Participate in the annual budget preparation and validate its premise with quantifiable data and initiatives
Compliance and reporting of any activity that would expose the store to avoidable risk
Effective leadership of assigned staff
Coordinate external resources

REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience: Ideal candidates will have:
Two years experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager at an Automobile Dealership or wholesale parts department.
Good working knowledge of parts operations including purchasing, inventory contorl and pricing.
Experience in computerized parts systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Valid Driver's License
Good understanding of customer satisfaction systems.
Working knowledge of automotive theory.
Professional appearance and work ethic
Great attitude with a high-energy personality
Superior customer service skills,
Formal inventory control training preferred.Required Education:
A high school diploma or the equivalent
