PROPERTY MANAGER / COMMUNITY MANAGER
WESTERN NATIONAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS NOW SEEKING:
Experienced Community Managers for the following properties.
THE PIERO: Downtown Los Angeles, 225 units
SUMMIT AT WARNER CENTER: Woodland Hills, 760 units
Responsibilities include:
LEASING AND MARKETING
Maintain high occupancy level through effective motivation, keeping informed of market conditions, understanding competitive pricing and utilizing appropriate marketing resources.
Supports the marketing functions through recording of accurate data on prospects and new residents, and by keeping informed of the competition. Utilize Company resources to facilitate leasing.
ADMINISTRATION
Establish and achieves financial goals by effectively qualifying prospective residents and verifying applications. Prepare lease documents and related paperwork. Update records as necessary.
Develops a motivated project team through effective personnel management. By example, and by setting and communicating clear standards guide the staff to fulfill its potential.
Coordinates maintenance of the property with appropriate support to keep the project quality at WNG standards. Through inspections and follow-through, will strive to maintain and improve value in the project’s features within the scope of its inherent design. Responsible for after hours and emergency on-call coverage.
Assist the Area Manager as needed in long-range planning, communications and other tasks, keeping informed of WNG philosophies and general environmental conditions to provide input and propose solutions.
PUBLIC RELATIONS/RESIDENT RETENTION
Promotes positive, proactive resident relations by demonstrating a “firm, fair and consistent” manner in all resident contacts, keeping in mind the political and social impact of their decisions. Working to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality. Introduce the resident to our apartment procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
All candidate must possess experience as Community Manager, managing 200+ units for Piero, 500+ units for Summit at Warner Center.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, and integrity and exercised confidentiality in all areas of performance. Projects a professional image and demeanor. Understand, apply and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Other Requirements:
Prior property management experience; general office and bookkeeping skills; sales and customer service skills; public relations; computer literacy; detail oriented and organized; ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
