Operations/Manufacturing Manager

The Operations/Mfg Manager is responsible for all operations of an ISO-Certified manufacturer located in Fort Payne Alabama. The company provides wiring harness solutions for automotive and industrial needs and has 75 employees. This position requires a candidate with the ability to manage process improvements and keep pace with growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of a JIT environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities Include:

·Directing, coordinating, and evaluating production operations, while maintaining and improving on existing high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
·Achieving or exceeding operational goals. Monitoring and reporting performance against goals and objectives.
·Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, resolving problems, and staffing.
·Maintaining a skilled and motivated workforce to support operations.
·Communicating effectively with staff to resolve problems and address employee issues.
·Managing all aspects of operations including Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and Maintenance.
·Determining capital requirements, coordinating and prioritizing capital projects and process improvements.
·Establishing and maintaining desired inventory levels.
·Reviewing schedules, methods, standards or other production factors and making effective recommendations for changes to improve quality and reduce costs.
·Ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with customer, company, and regulatory agency requirements.
·Maintaining systems that support continuous improvement and employee participation.

·Be resourceful and have excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility.
·Possess strong PC and Systems skills, with Made2Manage or other ERP systems experience particularly helpful
