OSA Regional Sales Manager
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: SalesResponsibilities: *Develop and implement sales plans for the Region and for each Representative.
Review results for each Sales Representative and the region on a regular basis and modify plans accordingly so that they can meet agreed upon objectives.
Work with the Inside Sales Manager to set clear roles & responsibilities between the field sales team and the Inside Sales reps. Continue to improve sales effectiveness through successful team selling between the reps.
Be the OSA point person for Rebate Distributors.
Develop clinical/technical knowledge, applications, strategic and tactical sales skills and competitive product knowledge for the OSA products at the expert level.
Provide/facilitate the training and development of each Sales Representative. Evaluate their needs, set joint objectives and develop a plan to provide the training and coaching required.
Develop relationship with Human Resources, which includes immediate discussions regarding any employee related issues, unfair treatment, and/or any issues that are in conflict with the values of GE Healthcare Technologies.
Operate within region's annual expense budget.
Actively participate in the recruiting and selection of new Sales Representatives, and recommend changes in promotions, terminations, salary adjustments, etc. as necessary to the Director of Sales.
Reinforce the importance to reps of conducting themselves in a professional manner as company representatives and the importance of maintenance and protection of company assets.
Achieve the goal of demo inventory turnover once every 12 months for the Region.
Conduct funnel and blue sheet reviews with the sales reps on a regular basis and provide coaching as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Intermediate level proficiency in the following applications; Microsoft Outlook, Access, Power Point and Excel.
Minimum five years of successful field selling experience in hospital business to business sales environment
Successful hospital/operating room capital equipment sales or disposable sales related to medical products and including high acuity areas as the ICU, NICU, ED, etc
Intermediate level experience with CRM software
Effectively apply consultative/conceptual selling and negotiating skills during the sales process and relate to all clinical areas throughout the hospital.
Proficiency in Miller Heiman Strategic Selling methodologies
Four (4) year Bachelor's Degree
Unrestricted authorization to work in US
Willingness to travel 50% of the time
Willingness to work out of home office
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Clinical backgroundGeneral: Sets and meets the sales objectives and goals for a Sales Region. Develops a plan, communicates it to the Sales Team and motivates them to achieve it. Measures and communicates the results and modifies the plans accordingly. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager works closely with their respective Acute Care, Perioperative, Sub-Acute and Perinatal Managers to develop tactics and strategies in securing business where opportunities may exist between Care Areas.
