Primary Purpose: Work collaboratively with others to achieve departmental, divisional, and hospital goals. Responsible for the operation of one of the following unit(s): Hiring for Medical/Surgical unit(s) to include Renal/Urology, Diabetes/Pediatrics POD, and Orthopedics. Accountable for fiscal, human, material resources, and optimal care delivery.

Essential Functions:
1. Manage human resources on designated unit.
2. Maintain unit financial resources relating to expenses and productivity.
3. Establish positive relations with physicians, nursing staff, and personnel promoting professional environment.
4. Maintain excellence in quality service.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Current RN registration in State of Alabama and BSN. MSN or Masters in Health Care Administration or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a staff nurse in an acute care facility. Management experience preferred.
