Nurse Coordinator – Hemophilia

Thomas Jefferson University has a full time Nurse Coordinator position available in the Department of The Cardeza Foundation Hemophilia Center. The selected individual will provide nursing care to patients with bleeding disorders according to federal and state granting agent guidelines in the outpatient setting of the Cardeza Foundation Hemophilia Center, which is located in the Thomas Jefferson University complex. The Nurse Coordinator will provide patient education to these individuals and significant others.

Additional responsibilities include:
Working directly with physicians in providing and coordinating care for these patients which involves collaborating with insurance companies, other physician offices, and ancillary department of the health care field.
Encouraging the utilization of community resources to enable patient's optimal level if functioning.
Functioning as an integral member of the bleeding disorder healthcare team.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/BSN preferred from an accredited school of nursing.
Current PA Registered Nurse license.
3-5 years medical/surgical experience.
