Night Club Assistant Manager - Key Club

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the Key Club Manager in the overall operation of the Club, ensuring the utmost in Guest Service. Supervises club staff and responsible for their deliverables (to the extent instructed to do so by the Manager).

About the Key Club
A sister venue to the Key Club on Sunset in West Hollywood, the Key Club at Morongo is a 20,000 square-foot, multi-level venue that triples as a concert venue, nightclub and special event facility.

The venue features a 300 square-foot stage for first-class entertainment, high-tech lighting and state-of-the-art sound system producing top sound quality for all types of performances. The Key Club at Morongo features contemporary furnishings and spectacular special effects. When no live performances are scheduled, the stage can be transformed into an ultra-VIP seating area. For special events, the club has the capability of expanding into the resort’s expansive outdoor setting which features an immense pool bordered by sandy beaches, water slide, lazy river and spas surrounded by lush landscaping.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Support Club Manager in overseeing all daily operations of Key Club

Responsible for staff (hiring, counseling, firing, and training) to the extent dictated by Club Manager

Responsible for overseeing Club’s purchasing decisions

Schedule weekly staff rosters.

Stock orders and stock control procedures.

Setting standard of health and hygiene and service delivery.

Create and stay within budget while Key Club maintains excellent service delivery.

Maintain strong communication with Casino Management Team as to needs, events, activities.

Ensure excellent customer service delivery.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory authority over Club, as assigned by Club Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Knowledge of all phases of food & beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity with all F&B services. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to lead and effectively direct others. Must be competent with various PC based software programs. Knowledge of methods, principles and practices of Food and Beverage. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures and operating standard office equipment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with guests and staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
All applicants must have previous night club and live concert venue experience as well as a sales and marketing background.

High school diploma. Two (2) to three (3) years supervisory experience in an entertainment venue,
preferably with night club emphasis.
