Materials Supervisor

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
Oversee review and release of purchase orders through the SAP system, and MRO replenishment items.
Ensure accurate inventory levels for purchased and manufactured items at the plant level.
Oversee scheduling functions to ensure sufficient inventory levels for on time delivery, without excess inventory.
Responsible to ensure plant level and interplant customers receive timely and accurate commitments for delivery of components.
Oversee delivery of needed items to internal and external customers as needed, at minimal cost to Kohler.
Supervise functions that support production and customer needs within budget for plant.
Ensure accurate and timely store set up, review and resizing as needed.
Work to reduce cost of all material control functions with no impact to delivery.
Handle special projects such as promotions, rollouts, and new product inventory.EUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in related field and 3 plus years experience OR experience equivalent to degree
Knowledge of warehouse inventory tracking system.
Ability to professionally communicate with contacts.
