Marketing Manager

International Cruise & Excurions, INC and Solutions at Sea have an opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our team!Sail into a new career with an innovative leader in the travel industry!!In this role, you would create, implement and manage innovative and strategic onboard marketing programs for clients such as Carnival, Carnival Vacation Club, Sea Miles and other strategic partners, including but not limited to all print collateral, premium and incentive programs, new product or program initiatives and other onboard initiatives to generate interest and drive sales for all onboard sales programs. This position will also have a major responsibility for consumer member marketing initiatives for Carnival Vacation Club and other programs derived from onboard sales.Sound interesting?
Major Duties & Responsibilities•Work cooperatively and creatively with key clients to help meet the objectives of our strategic onboard programs and obtain the proper design, operational and implementation approvals needed.
•Work cooperatively and efficiently with Sales and Onboard Operations to help meet the objectives and ensure all teams are effectively managing all onboard sales and marketing operations.
•Drive the creative and prioritization of all design projects with Next Gen in supporting sales and marketing programs for all new and existing pieces.
•Coordinate with Purchasing and Next Gen on all print vendor quotes, artwork specs and cost-saving options for all SAS marketing collateral.
•Manage all SAS Marketing Inventory to maintain sufficient inventory levels, regulate appropriate ship run rates and approved usage for weekly shipments and forecasting.
•Analyze the effectiveness of onboard programs and marketing campaigns through weekly reporting and tracking to provide proper reporting to executive management and clients upon request
•Coordinate and successfully implement all necessary marketing collateral and procedures associated with new ship launches or program rollouts or modifications.
•Maintain, update and ensure proper implementation of all Onboard Marketing Operations Manuals
•Responsible for accurately maintaining and updating all SAS related marketing budgets including Onboard and Departmental budgets.•Develop and maintain creative consumer marketing communications to both Carnival Vacation Club current members and referrals to drive membership sales and Cruise Point redemption.
•Handle all marketing and coordination for Member events and promotions.
•Provide the Call Center marketing support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for experienced Marketing Professionals with the following knowledge, skills & abilities:•Experience in membership, hotel/resort/cruise marketing or timeshare marketing
•High level of written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience in print, email, web and audio/visual marketing
•Must have an exceptional knowledge of Excel for reporting purposes
•Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
•A minimum of 5 years experience in a Marketing Management position. Preferably in travel industry, member based direct sales or timeshare direct sales environment
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent work experience
•Demonstrated track record of successful experience with development and production of marketing campaigns
•This position requires a commitment to working the hours required to make marketing campaigns successful, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Due to the nature of this position, regular attendance at the office and 24 / 7 attention to assigned responsibilities is mandatory.
•Candidate must possess the ability to travel 3-8 day periods as new product lines are launched
