Manager or Director, Donor Strategy and Management
Newly created position in the $2 billion dollar Biomedical Services Division of The American Red Cross.
Responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies which will significantly increase blood donations at Red Cross blood centers throughout the United States in support of our commitment to availability for all patients.
REQUIREMENTS
*Develops, implements and evaluates strategies for increasing blood donations throughout the ARC system, including urban, suburban, and corporate environments and in both fixed sites and mobile locations.
*Initiates creative direct marketing strategies for donor recruitment (mail, telemarketing and e-marketing), which provide cost effective methods for supporting regional donor participation programs.
*Coordinates national efforts in increasing existing donor base to match the ever-increasing blood demands, including type specific needs.
* Assists regions in developing innovative approaches to establish donor centers as key element in type specific production. *Identifies and develops effective donor recognition programs resulting in increased donor frequency.
*Responsible for defining requirements for state-of-the-art facilities, including site selection, size, location, appearance, furnishings, and equipment. Ensures plans are customer driven and meet both regulatory and budget requirements.
*Assists in developing and evaluating systems for timely evaluation of donor satisfaction across donor centers. Ensures sharing results and associated “best practices” across the ARC system.
*Serves as a resource for regions in directing analysis for evaluating effectiveness of existing sites, value of renovating or moving fixed sites, or establishing new centers.
*Directs brand development and management related to donors and sponsors. Develops and implements brand positioning and messaging. Coordinates with division marketing personnel on consistent, coordinated approach to brand management.
*Ensures compliance with ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations and other related regulatory requirements.
*Performs work under general direction.
*Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
*May exercise latitude in determining objectives, strategies, and approaches to assignments.
*Develops solutions to complex problems, working across multi-functional and multi-location teams.
*Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques or processes.
*Ensures solutions support organizational objectives. Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant issues.
