Manager 2 - Retail

Unit Description: Bren Events Center - 5000 seats, Basketball, Concerts, Special Events. Food and Beer Concesssions This is a 9 Month Position with the potential to work additional days/weeks/months as needed or desired by successful candidate. During 9 month " on " period, manager will also work actively on other local campuses some days of the week as determined by event schedule at Bren Center. Successful candidates have demonstrated success in managing concessions (Food and Beer). Responsible for mutilple locations throughout arena and some catering. Great Client relation skills needed.Position Summary:
Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.Basic Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GEDBasic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
1 year of lead/supervisory/management experienceBasic Functional Experience Required:
1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
