MARKETING MANAGER - ONLINE

Gannett Pacific Publications Inc. is owned by Gannett Co., publishers of USA Today and The Arizona Republic, and we are currently seeking a Phoenix-based Online Marketing Manager for our dynamic and growing web sites including Hawaii.com, MustDoTravel.com, Micronesia.hawaii.com and 101ThingsToDo.com. This Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

Developing, implementing and maintaining detailed, leading-edge marketing plans for GPP’s Web sites
Developing and overseeing internal and external marketing campaigns for GPP’s sites
Developing, implementing and administering loyalty programs for GPP’s online products
Gathering demographic, geographic & lifestyle site user information
Developing and utilizing reporting and survey tools and site marketing reports
Coordinating with online advertising production and sales teams to prepare proposals
Analyzing and maintaining search engine rankings (optimization)
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education. At least one year web sales and publishing experience or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work with database software in an analytical situation. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to keep track of multiple details, detail-orientation, and manage multiple projects concurrently. Candidates will have proven quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills with the established ability to work with database software in an analytical situation. Candidates must have excellent computer skills with proven knowledge of Web site languages such as HTML, XML, MYSQL & PHP and proficiency with MSOffice and web-based software packages.
