Lancaster Laboratories has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Manager to join our Professional Scientific Staffing team in Boulder, Colorado.
Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: manage a 24/7 lab operation supporting Water Chemistry, Microbiology, and Sample Administration; supervise Group Leaders and technical staff; interact with clients regularly; provide coaching and training as needed; assist in hiring of staff; plan and monitor work flow according to department metrics, participate in long and short-term planning and goal setting for the department.
This is a full-time position, with a base schedule of Monday to Friday, first shift but will vary at times to manage the off shift supervisors and staffs, with additional work hours as needed.
We are seeking a candidate with a BS/BA in chemistry or other related degree along with ten-plus years in pharmaceutical laboratory management in a GMP environment.
