Inside Sales Representative

National supplier of building materials for commercial specification seeks Inside Sales Representative based at headquarters in the Northwestern suburbs. We are interested in meeting highly motivated, result driven individuals that can perform and grow in a small, privately held organization. Individual must demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, superior work ethics, and ability to build relationships and close sales over the phone.

The opportunity to advance to an outside sales position.Responsibilities:

Outbound calling for uncovering opportunities in pre-determined industries.
Lead qualification and opportunity assessment.
Contact point and responsible for revenue increase in territories not covered by an Outside Sales Representative.
Follow-through on projects to maintain integrity of specification.
Support to the National Accounts Manager on fact finding and research on customers lists, follow-through on quotes and projects, service contact point for major accounts, and other related tasks.
Close interaction with National Sales Manager, National Accounts Manager and Marketing Manager for implementation of sales strategies and programs and achievement of sales objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Inside Sales:

Computer proficient:Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, will need to learn in-house CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ordering system.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish a plus
Able to build strong relationships and close business over the phone
Extremely organized and detailed oriented
Customer centric attitude
Problem solving ability
Team player
3-5 years experience in similar function
2 year degree (college)
Knowledge of the specification sales process a plus
