This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager to manage a $1B portfolio for a group of assigned accounts within this Fortune 100 Commercial Finance Company.

You will be responsible for monitoring loan covenants and financial statement collection, identifying potential problem accounts, identifying additional financing opportunities, and the credit and documentation for loan modifications. In this fast paced and challenging position, you will be responsible for…


* Handling all aspects of portfolio management on a group of assigned accounts which are key customer relationships that are identified based on various criteria, such as exposure size, growth potential and risk profile

* Monitoring customer compliance with loan covenants

* Ensuring customer provides financial statements and all other documents required per loan agreements

* Identifying early-on potential watch-list accounts for forwarding to Special Servicing

* Developing strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional financing or re-financing. Working with the Account Executive to execute on such opportunities

* Handling all borrower requests related to loan modifications: collateral release or substitution, assignments or assumptions, etc.

* Handling within the assigned delegation all credit decisions that relate to loan modifications. Performing a credit analysis commensurate with the scope and risk of the subject loan modification. The analysis will at times cover all key risk aspects: customer review, financial analysis, collateral evaluation, concept and industry analysis

* Participating where necessary in negotiations regarding final terms and documentation for loan modifications. Working with the Closing Associates, Account Executives, and Outside Counsel to ensure proper documentation and ultimate closing of the transaction

* Participating from time to time in customer or concept visits.

REQUIREMENTS


To be immediately and seriously consider for this position, you must have the following...


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Law degree,

* Minimum 4 years experience in a commercial finance or banking environment, including preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance, assessing risk exposure, and recommending risk decision

* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

* Strong technical skills, especially in financial analysis and monitoring and deal documentation & review

* Proven problem solving and analytical abilities

* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel utilization

* High energy, detail oriented team player, with excellent organizational and verbal and written communications skills


Desired Qualifications:


* Minimum of 1 year experience successfully leading a team in a financial services business

* Minimum 1 year of underwriting or Workout experience
