Immunology Supervisor - Diagnostics

Responsibilities: Kforce is currently recruiting for an Immunology Supervisor to work with a biotech company in the north Orange County area. The Immunology Supervisor is responsible for supervising and overseeing the execution of clinical testing within a given laboratory. Duties include: Ensure compliance with established setup and reporting schedules for all assigned analytical testing procedures within the laboratory. Direct and administer the laboratory policies and procedures for the laboratory staff. Ensure all training and compliance of SOPs. Review all quality control records, preventative maintenance records, paralleling records. Provide guidance and oversee the performance of analytical testing assignments within the laboratory. Review and maintain department operating procedures. Administer department operating budgets. Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable safety regulations and instructions, as well as correcting unsafe work habits and practices and/or bringing to the attention of the Safety Team or a supervisor any practice or condition that may be detrimental to the safety and health of the employees. You also have a responsibility to cooperate in all safety or health-related programs and assist in solving safety and health problems. Violations of safety directives and procedures will be handled in accordance with the established company disciplinary process. Supervise a minimum of 1-5 employees in a given unit. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
