Health Information Mgt – Tumor Registrar; M-F 8:30a-4:30p

This position is Full Time, 8a-4:30p, Monday-Friday.

In this position, you will:
•Collaborate with clinicians, epidemiologists and other researches on cancer-related studies and research projects.
•Code topography, morphology and other related information using ICD-O codes for data entry.
•Maintain systems and files, including quality control for identifying and recording all cases of malignant disease.
•Maintain a procedures manual which details the operations of the Tumor Registry.
•Coordinate all of the activities of the Tumor Registry with the Cancer Coordinator.

Job Requirements


•Certified Tumor Registrar
•LPN, RN, RHIA or RHIT, along with extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and disease processes
