The role of the Assistant Manager of Logistics is to provide strong leadership and management in all processes related to the receipt and movement of OfficeMax products and materials. Other duties include that every customer is 100% satisfied, maximize sales by assisting in the development of sales-oriented supervisors and hourly associates, drives the store business plan, selects and assists in the development of sales/stocking associates, receiving associates, stocking crew supervisor, receiving department supervisor and the office supplies supervisor, coordinate and process all corporate issued RTV's, process all damaged merchandise, assist in managing payroll administration, budgeting and the annual performance review process, analyze P&L statements. REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Some college preferred A minimum of 3-5 years retail management experience A passion for relentlessly driving sales and profit by offering the BEST customer service and a solid track record for recruiting, training, developing, motivating, and leading a diverse team to success. Must have the following: strong leadership and analytical skills, strong organizational and problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ablility to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines.
