Group Lead 1 — 1st Shift- Kroll Ontrack- New Castle, DE

The Group Lead I provides work direction and feedback to Clerks. The Group Lead I is responsible for assisting the Group Lead II and Production Assistant in meeting production and quality goals for the shift. This individual takes work direction from the Group Lead II and/or other management and ensures projects are completed as specified in order to meet or exceed quality and production goals. In addition, the Group Lead I is responsible for carrying out instructions received from the Group Lead II or other management and provides back up assistance to the Group Lead II and or Production Assistant. The Group Lead I is responsible for providing input to the Group Lead II for completing annual performance reviews for the Clerks. The Group Lead I provides back up for the Group Lead II role.





Responsibilities will include:



-Open and close the production facility.



-Knowledge and ability to perform all functions of a clerk, and to fill in where needed to meet production goals/deadlines.



-Maintain the production schedule; coordinate and monitor individual scanning projects and review daily assignments for the shift. Responsible for reporting project status to senior management as needed and following escalation protocols as needed.



-Guide and coach employees in their work. Provide input into the annual performance reviews for the clerks. Back up the Group Lead II in completing all timecards accurately and on time for all production staff, within specified time frame. Back up the Group Lead II in providing Performance Appraisal System reports (PAS) weekly for staff.



-Serve as a resource to co-workers by obtaining and sharing knowledge and information in order to enhance team member's abilities to achieve quality and production goals. Notify the Group Lead II and/or the Production Assistant of any staff training needs. Provide training to Clerks as needed.



-Effective communication with staff and between shifts. Effective communication with both internal and external customers.



-Assist Group Lead II in managing imaging resources and processes for maximum efficiency; participate with other employees in designing and implementing initiatives



-Accepts responsibility for decisions.



REQUIREMENTS


-May require up to 10% travel.



-Work may be performed on any shift and may include weekends. All training will be completed on first shift.



-Ability to discuss Kroll Ontrack scanning services with technical and non-technical employees and clients.



-Ability to write various business communications professionally and accurately.



-Knowledge skills in using Microsoft Office, PCL, Projdata and DocuLex.



-Knowledge of database programs and their applications.



-Basic negotiation skills.



-Effective communication skills, both oral and written, as well as presentation skills.



-Excellent time management and organizational skills.



-Attention to detail, ensuring high quality deliverables.



-Ability to perform frequent and continuous heavy lifting (25+ lbs).



-Ability to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces.



-Ability to read and clearly understand general business documents.



-Ability to count/inventory production materials and report count totals and status of production materials



-Ability to constructively cope with stress related to deadlines.





Education:



High School diploma or GED.



Three months or more of supervisory/management experience or equivalent combination desired.



Experience in a production environment, preferably one involving imaging.
