Food Service Manager / General Manager

Unit Description: Senior Services, Hartford, CT is seeking a General Manager for a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate well with clients, customers and employees for positive outcomes. Position will manage, hire, and train up to 20 employees. Best qualified candidate will have Long Term Care experience (OBRA Regs), culinary experience, food production knowledge, and a strong food safety and kitchen safety background.Position Summary:
Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client accountBasic Education Requirement:
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School DegreeBasic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
2 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experienceBasic Functional Experience Required:
