Fleet Manager

The Wackenhut Corporation, a leader in the security services industry, is currently recruiting for a Fleet Manager in Tucson, Arizona.

This position will manage the daily operational functions of the Wackenhut fleet and the Shuttle Bus Leasing (SBL) contract with discretionary authority to direct and coordinate fleet operations and for scheduling to ensure availability of vehicles and equipment. This position is also responsible for conducting random inspections of SBL operations including garage facilities, motor vehicle repair and service, and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Additional responsibilities include managing and directing the Commercial Driver License training program for all Wackenhut personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven history of successful performance in fleet/bus operations management is required. Exceptional communication/customer service skills are essential. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office are also necessary. BS/BA degree in Business Management or related field is preferred.
