Horizon Bay Senior Communities, a national and well respected senior living management company, serving 48 communities throughout the United States is seeking an executive director to manage the beautiful Cherry Hills Club in Sun City, Ca (near Menifee).Cherry Hills Club is a 181 unit full-service independent and assisted retirement community dedicated to providing services and amenities that are second to none. The community has everything to accommodate our residents’ lifestyles—beautiful apartment homes, chef-prepared meals, scheduled transportation, housekeeping and linen services. Our activities and entertainment are endless. In addition, residents enjoy our award-winning Horizon Bay’s LiveWell! activities program, which includes a variety of social, educational, fitness and cultural activities.Our Executive Directors are offered the challenge to oversee the planning and implementation of all of the programs and policies at their community while following the philosophies and core values of Horizon Bay. Key responsibilities are creating and adhering to the budget, implementing cost saving initiatives, ensuring the quality of care and service delivered is of the highest level, training and managing the staff, guiding the department heads to achieve their goals, and making a significant contribution towards building the census (working with the Sales & marketing Dept.) and maximizing revenue. We are seeking an energetic leader with independent senior living experience with a customer service focus to oversee planning, direction & management of all areas such as sales and marketing, dining/food and beverage, wellness, activities, transportation, housekeeping / maintenance, etc. Participative management style, team leadership, financial & operational acumen with some hospitality background preferred.
To be considered, candidates must have industry experience. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required. Proven marketing record and employee relations experience a plus.

REQUIREMENTS
Interested industry professionals looking for a unique and reputable company to grow and advance within, should closely fit the criteria below: •Minimum 5 years of operations experience in senior living with a combination of IL, AL, Alzheimer or CCRC. •Proven track records focused on improving quality of health care services, maximizing revenue and building census, mentoring and rallying the staff, controlling expenses, increasing resident satisfaction, managing the day to day operations while continuously making improvements and recommendations. •Strong financial and operational abilities •Excellent interpersonal skills and management experience •Strong leadership skills •Degree in a related field
