Order Entry Manager

The Order Entry Manager is responsible for the management of the Order Entry Department. Primary responsibilities include daily coordination of receipt, entry and processing of orders, returns and Customer Invoicing. The Manager interfaces with other departments such as Sales, Finance and Operations in order to maintain global order entry procedures, provide immediate delivery notifications and identify opportunities for improvement. Must proactively strive for a “get it done right the first time” approach to all contacts with customers and in the handling of customer orders and inquiries. Jointly develop improvement and implementation plans to include new policy and procedures as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Order Entry/Processing management and EDI
Must have experience with automated systems, i.e. PeopleSoft
Demonstrated aptitude in the following skill areas: Leadership, interpersonal, communication, personal adaptability, problem solving and cognitive abilities
Be able to perform under aggressive goal expectations
BS/BA or equivalent is required
Solid analytical and organizational skills, both quantitative and qualitative
Intermediate/Advanced PC based applications including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and order processing software as well as reporting software
Some travel required
