District Manager/Multi-Unit Manager-Great Opportunity

Giant Industries Inc., currently has outstanding opportunities for a District Manager or Multi-Unit Manager in the Southwest. This position is ideal for an individual with C-Store Multi-Unit experience that likes to travel. This position also supports relocation for the right candidate and includes an auto allowance, expense account, and eligibility to participate in a Bonus Program.

We are recruiting for District Managers or Multi-Unit Managers in the following areas:


Gallup, NM
South Colorado
Tucson, AZ


JOB SUMMARY:

· Assists store managers in the daily operations of the store, troubleshoot problems, and generally support store management.

· Ensures company policies are followed and serves as liaison between corporate and store level employees.

· Trains, guides and helps each manager to be as successful as possible.

· Assist in the control of unit expenditures. Monitors inventory, cash, and deposits.

· Ensures store managers follow company policy and procedures, and give the highest level of customer service.

· Implements the marketing plan and ensures that it is followed.

· Communicates with upper management to ensure that the correct company standards are in the units.

· Insures all policies regarding alcohol and tobacco sales are followed.
REQUIREMENTSThorough knowledge of retail operations, fuel consoles, cash register, POS, personal computers and software programs to include MS Office, facsimile, etc. PDI experience preferred.Travel required. Some overnights.Must be able to relocate based on business needs.Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide proof of insurance.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

District Manager: Bachelor’s Degree in related area and 3-5 years related experience.(C-Store, Multi-unit) or equivalent combination of education and experience


Multi-Unit Manager: Associate’s Degree in related area and 1-2 years related experience (C-Store, Multi-unit) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
