District Fleet Manager

Purpose: A Fortune 200 Company is looking for a District Fleet Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance of the fleet which includes but not limited to construction equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, scissor lifts and bulldozers. Will also be in charge of cost control, training and development and abiding by safety standards. This person should be highly experienced with heavy equipment repair and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily operation of maintenance department, ensuring all systems are functional and that all routine maintenance being performed is documented and following all safety standards and regulations
-Conduct regular inspections
-Will make hiring decisions for shift supervisors and maintenance personnel
-Provide training and presentations
-Develop and train personnel
-Submit required reports within given time frame

Qualifications:
-Degree in business or related field
-Minimum 4-6 years experience with fleet management
-Must be able to pass a drug and background check
-Valid California's drivers license required

65,000-75,000 Year
