Hornblower Cruises & Events is looking for an experienced F&B Director to oversee our multi site Bay Area F&B department. Will be responsible for all aspects of the F&B department including managing a staff of 4+ managers, indirectly supervising 200+ hourly personnel, forecasting, costing, budgeting and other P/L responsibilities. Will develop menus, wine lists, establish staffing levels and customer service standards for events ranging from 20 people to 2,000.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified individual will have Five years F&B/Hospitality Management experience. Strong communication, mediation and negotiating skills, as well as excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and have innovative ideas are needed to succeed in this position. Must have experience in creating a budget and working within the parameters of cost constraints. Ability to speak Spanish will be a plus. This is a hands-on, working position where lifting, carrying, and working nights, weekends and holidays are required. Pre-employment and random drug testing are also requirements for this position.
