Director – Order Processing

Job Description:
Responsible for the management and direction of a large order processing department. Plan, coordinate and direct order entry and order production within corporate and regulatory guidelines. This position is responsible for the complex function of exceptions and multiple exceptions. Oversee maintenance of prescription records. Ensure quality and service standards are maintained along with client-specific contractual requirements. Maintain front end pharmacy security. Responsible for annual strategic planning for site pharmacy operation. Set and manage budget to meet corporate cost-per-fill goals. Periodically report site production and costs to management.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree required. Advanced or Pharmacist degree strongly preferred
7-10 years experience in a senior leadership position, 2-3 years in health care or PBM industry
Extensive knowledge of current pharmacy regulations
Experience with strategic work planning and budgeting required
Demonstrated ability to manage toward budget and work plan goals
Must have proven leadership skills, team-orientation, and a proactive and optimistic management style
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex problems and improve quality and service
Excellent communication skills, including presentations and negotiations
PC skills including Microsoft office, email and internet
Willingness to travel limited amounts
